The emphasis courses within this degree have guided you through the leadership of a K-12 environment. A campus master plan (strategic plan) includes seven elements. In this assignment, you will look at three, with at least one of the sections being Internal and External Stakeholders, Facilities Planning, or Professional Development, of the elements and discuss the best practices that should be used to develop and implement the selected elements of the plan. The paper will begin with an introduction, end with a conclusion, and include your discussion of three of the elements in the body.

Pick three of the seven parts of a strategic plan (listed below) and write a 1,600-word paper that outlines what research considers best practices for each section.

For each element selected, discuss the following:

1. Briefly define what the section details.
2. Explain how the history and politics of education influence the section.
3. Discuss the best practices to be applied to the section.
4. Evaluate how the current trends and issues affect leadership strategies, classroom practices, and student outcomes.

Introduction

The significance of a tactical plan for an organization cannot be underrated. A strategic plan provides a guideline of the achievement of various milestones in the organization. A calculated plan outlines a step in an organization, the accountability, and how it will be carried out. Moreover, the plan shows the timeframe for taking the major step; through the guidelines, the particular organization does assess their performance with the indicated calculated plans. A K-12 school is not an exception; for a K-12 institute to improve regarding standard and academic excellence, a premeditated plan remains crucial. A strategic plan in a K-12 environment ensures continuous improvement through diverse ways. A well-defined strategic plan helps a K-12 school improve in the following fields: ensuring a high number of students who succeed in that organization, strengthening relationship and partnerships with education, improving work environment conditions, and providing high-quality business services that are essential to the success of pupils (Eggen, 2012). Additionally, a tactical plan ensures a high achievement and continuous improvement process with minimal strain.

This paper seeks to outline three components of a strategic plan and their main details.

Internal Stakeholders

Internal stakeholders in any institution are known to include but not limited to groups of people or individuals who directly produce a product and consume it. For our case, the product in question stands as education. Therefore, domestic investors in training include the staff and the management who are directly involved in the production, while on the other hand, the students are the direct consumers of the product. In a school environment, however, the atmosphere of the shareholders must be improved with time. Therefore, the interested parties in the organization must be developed to improve the overall performance of the faculty. In the tactical plan, the roles of each stakeholder are analyzed and specified. As further outlined by Eggen & Kauchak (2012), the roles and duties of the private investors do determine the success of the tactical plan. However, in a campus set-up, the private sponsors section of the program mainly outlines the role of a university administrator. The campus manager stays in charge of teaching, learning, community service and research among other many functions.
