Hi, I had questions about the text
Here is the link: Only read chapter 2:http://www.earlymoderntexts.com/assets/pdfs/mill1863.pdf
1) How does Mill define the Greatest Happiness Principle? How is the principle suppose to function as a guide to moral decision-making?
2.Why is it important that the Greastest happiness principle be applied to the greatest/larger number of persons?
3. What does Mill say about making sacrifices for the greater good? How might this Mill’s ideal become aproblem for potentially virtuous acts which don’t immediately benefit other people?
